Africa is not only the future: it is also called to rebuild its past — its roots — like the bamboo cane that sinks deep into the earth in order to rise toward the sky. It must rediscover itself, recognize its origins, and its ancient wisdom, so that it may face the future with awareness and dignity.

To you, African brothers and sisters, and to all friends of Africa, I say: let us raise our voices together, for the sake of coexistence and peace among peoples. The world has no true borders, except those drawn by man’s selfish mind. Yet humanity must not allow itself to destroy our shared well-being with empty words and blind actions.

Try to imagine, even for a moment, what it would mean to be alone in the world. What would remain? And what could solitude truly give you?

Thank you, from the heart, to all who believe in dialogue as a path to growth, as a bridge between souls.

Long live May 25th. Long live Africa.
