The Empowerment Foundation
The Obehi Ewanfoh Empowerment Foundation is a registered Nigerian non-profit dedicated to unlocking the potential of Africa’s next generation. We believe that talent is universal, but the resources to develop it are not.
Our mission is to transform the educational landscape by providing the tools, mentorship, and digital pathways necessary for young leaders to turn their inherent cultural wealth into global assets.
A Roadmap for Transformation: The Three Pillars
Our work is built on three distinct pillars that move students from survival to sovereignty.
1. Direct Educational Support (Immediate Action)
We address the physical barriers to learning. Before a student can master digital storytelling, they must have the basic tools of the trade.
- The Program: “Tools for Success”, the direct distribution of books, pens, and study resources.
- The Traceability Model: We use a rigorous verification system, partnering directly with school leadership to ensure every resource reaches the students who need it most.
2. Knowledge Transfer & Digital Access (The Bridge)
We solve the “Opportunity Gap” by connecting local Nigerian talent to our global “Knowledge Parent,” AClasses Academy.
- Access: Providing free or subsidized enrollment in expert-led professional courses and workshops.
- Mentorship: Creating direct pathways for local students to learn from international experts within our global network.
3. The Research Center for Storytelling (The Vision)
The “Crown Jewel” of our foundation is the establishment of a state-of-the-art physical hub in Nigeria.
- The Infrastructure: A state-of-the-art facility equipped with high-speed internet, computer labs, and digital recording studios.
- The Purpose: A physical landmark where oral traditions are archived and students move from “pen and paper” to digital mastery.
- Status: Currently in the Planning and Fundraising Phase.
