Amaka Ifeduba is a passionate advocate for agricultural development and food security, with a particular focus on Africa. She recently earned her PhD in Horticultural Sciences from Texas A&M University, USA, where her groundbreaking research concentrated on understanding heat tolerance mechanisms in potatoes.

This work aims to develop climate-smart potato varieties that are resilient to extreme global temperatures.

In addition to her scientific expertise, Amaka is dedicated to empowering the next generation. She firmly believes that human capital development is key to driving real-world change.

To further this mission, she founded ScholarUP Mentoring Academy, where she serves as the lead coach.

Through her programs, Amaka equips aspiring graduate students with essential resources and helps professionals enhance productivity and position themselves for global opportunities, particularly on LinkedIn.

To date, she has successfully trained over 300 graduate students and 200 professionals from more than 15 countries around the world.
