Will Trump’s Defeat Bring Chaos To The American Politics?

President Trump didn’t learn that leadership is about the people, not about himself. If you are a leader or an aspiring one, you must know this basic rule or you will be doing yourself a disservice.

Words are powerful and those who understand the potency of their tongues will always trade carefully on how to use them.

To say the least, Trump has been both reckless and almost irresponsible with his tongue since the last 4 years of his presidency. Words like “I do not take responsibility at all”, talking about his bad handling of the covid19 pandemic and that he “won’t accept an election loss” do not reflect the quality of a good leader.

Bush and the Obamas
This was only a few years ago and it’s already like a reminiscent of a distant past. That kind of bipartisan politics is what brings harmony to the system and therefore to the people.

Truth be told, the dangerous inflammations from his mount will hunt the American politics for sometimes even when he has left the white house. This is already playing out on the streets of America, while the people who are shouldered with the responsibility to conduct an election are still doing their job.

The moral lesson for this is that leaders should be careful about how they talk, no matter the state of their anger. If you destroy the people’s confidence in a system, it will become difficult for whoever comes after you to lead the same people under the same system.

Agree that there are some elements of discrepancies in the democratic experiment of most counties, including the United States. Frankly, in all political systems. But as it currently stands, we haven’t got any better system of governance, so we must learn to defend democracy and the rule of law, until we can find something better, hopefully in the future.

Let leaders lead by building up people and not destroying their morals because it’s far more difficult to build than to destroy.
