Trip Itinerary

Arrive in Maun, where you’re welcomed by your guide and transferred to the mokoro station (45 mins). 

  • Travel by mokoro through the Delta’s quiet channels (45 mins–1 hour) to your remote island campsite. 
  • Enjoy peaceful evenings with dinner prepared by your chef, hot showers, and stories by the fire. 
  • Each day begins with a guided nature walk through the bush, where you’ll learn tracking, bird calls, and traditional plant uses. 

Afternoons offer mokoro excursions, sunset viewing, and a chance to learn how to pole a mokoro yourself.  

After breakfast, transfer by mokoro and vehicle (approx. 5–6 hours) to Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana’s most celebrated wildlife areas. 

  • Camp in the heart of the reserve, surrounded by elephants, lions, and over 400 species of birds. 
  • Each day includes two game drives — one at sunrise and one in the late afternoon — with bush breakfasts and traditional meals prepared for you. 

Your private tent includes a shower and eco-toilet, allowing for simple but comfortable living close to nature.  

Enjoy a final morning game drive as you exit Moremi, heading back to Maun. 

Spend your last night in a local hotel — a moment to rest, reflect, and prepare for your journey home with a new sense of grounding.
