This will offer you a glimpse into Tunisia’s deep cultural and religious heritage. 
  • Visit the Bardo Museum: Spend the afternoon at the Bardo Museum, home to one of the most significant collections of Roman mosaics, statues, and artifacts.   • Acropolis of Byrsa: Begin your journey through ancient history by visiting the Acropolis of Byrsa, the highest point of ancient Carthage. From this site, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. The site houses remnants of the Carthaginian temples, including those dedicated to Eshmun, the Phoenician god of healing. 
  • Punic Ports: Next, visit the Punic Ports, the maritime heart of Carthage. These harbors, once used for trade and military purposes, reflect Carthage’s significance as a maritime empire. Here, you’ll see the remains of ship sheds and docks that were pivotal in the naval supremacy that defined Carthage’s rise.
