  • Arrival at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, Abidjan: Welcome to Côte d’Ivoire! Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by your local guide and transferred to your hotel in Abidjan, the vibrant economic capital of Côte d’Ivoire. Abidjan is a city rich in history and culture, offering a perfect introduction to the country’s spirit. 
  • Check-in and Rest: Settle into your accommodation and take some time to relax after your flight. 

Afternoon 

  • Cultural Orientation and Introduction: Attend a private cultural briefing where you will learn about the rich history of Côte d’Ivoire, the significance of Tai National Park, and the importance of local conservation efforts in protecting both the park and its surrounding communities. Your guide will introduce you to the diverse cultures and traditions of the region, including those of the Yacouba, the indigenous people of the park area.

Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes as you leave behind the bustling city of Abidjan and venture into Côte d’Ivoire’s remote wilderness. Your guide will share insights into the ecological significance of the park and the surrounding Cavally and Sassandra rivers, which form natural borders between Côte d’Ivoire and Liberia.
