About The Guest: Valentina Lorenzon

Valentina is an international strategy consultant and business advisor, mainly focusing on family businesses and SMEs. For the last 15 years, Valentina has been working both within her own family business based in Italy and with clients all over Europe, specializing in leadership and business management.

She has extensive, first-hand experience in all aspects related to intercultural and intergenerational leadership with specific expertise in internationalization processes, multigenerational planning, and next-gen engagement.

Leveraging her experience as a third-generation family business member and her work with companies of all sizes across different markets and sectors – including manufacturing, publishing, food & drink, luxury goods, and market research.

Valentina also works as a business coach, supporting individuals in starting and developing their own businesses, building an international career, or preparing for a career change.

Having lived and worked across multiple European countries including Italy, France, and Germany, Valentina is a strong advocate of intercultural awareness and understanding as a way to increase business success on a global level.

She is also passionate about promoting excellence in entrepreneurship and preparing the next generation of leaders, especially within the family business sector.

Since 2018 Valentina is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants and is actively involved in the work of the Centre for Management Consulting Excellence (CMCE), as a member of the coordination group and the editor of the CMCE monthly newsletter.

Being a strong advocate for lifelong learning as a way to expand her thinking and continue to grow both on a personal and professional level, Valentina uses most of her free time to pursue her passions and interests.

She has recently started a course on the Skills for the Green Transition, organized by the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. An avid polyglot, Valentina is also studying towards a BA in Language Studies (French and German) and would ultimately like to become fluent in 10 different languages.
